New Zealand biotech BioOra will expand production of its next-generation cell therapies to Australia after winning a $7.7 million grant through Queensland’s Sovereign Industry Development Fund.
The Wellington-based company that has developed a platform to automate the production of CAR T-cell therapies will use funding to set up operations in the Brisbane suburb of Woolloongabba by 2028, creating 72 jobs in the process.
