All Albanese’s innovation sweeteners from the election


With Anthony Albanese and Labor claiming a decisive victory at the weekend’s election, attention now turns to the second-term government’s ambitious agenda for the next three years.

Buffeted by global trade tensions, Labor rolled out a package of interventionalist industry policies in the lead up to the May 3 ballot to build on its Future Made in Australia plan, but largely ignored tech policy.
