Thousands of pre-loved devices could be donated to vulnerable and disadvantaged communities every year to boost digital connectivity under NSW’s first-ever digital inclusion strategy.
The strategy, which has been in the works for the past year, also reveals plans for a new standard to drive an inclusion uplift across the state government’s vast estate of websites and digital services.
It comes as the Minns government gives itself five years to make all of its digital services accessible and inclusive, as digital identity opens the door to additional online transactions.
