Our judges have spoken, and our finalists are locked in. Now it’s your turn: The public voting has opened for the celebrated People’s Choice category of the 2025 InnovationAus Awards for Excellence.
The People’s Choice is the crowd favourite, with all of our finalists across all categories automatically nominated for the award.
The voting is open to the public on a one person, one vote basis – so make you vote count and share your favourite company through your social media channels.
The list of all of our finalists for 2025 have been published below. And you can cast your vote through this link. The deadline for voting is midnight on Tuesday 14 October, so don’t delay.
To vote on this award, you will need to register on our awards platform to ensure the one-person, one-vote rule. This is a quick and easy process. Don’t worry, your email address will not be used for any purpose other than the voting process.
All of the winners will be announced an InnovationAus black-tie gala dinner that the spectacular Sydney Town Hall on November 27. You can join 550 entrepreneurs, innovators, VCs and policymakers by book your seat (or corporate table) here.
The People’s Choice Award finalists are:
- 4AI Systems – 4AI Systems develops perception systems powered by artificial intelligence to create better operational outcomes for rail network operators. Website here.
- Access Innovation Media – AI-Media builds artificial intelligence driven captioning technology and real-time multilingual meeting translation software.
- Fivecast – Fivecast is an Australian AI company using open-source intelligence to identify threats and build risk assessments for the defence, national security and law enforcement communities. Website here.
- Fleet Space – South Australia based Fleet Space Technologies builds space enabled technology that enables more accurate exploration of the earth – including minerals exploration. Manufacturers and operates satellites.
- SenSen Networks – Melbourne-based SenSen Networks builds intelligent curbside and parking management solutions powered by AI and computer vision for local councils, law enforcement and retail.
- Vection Technologies – Vection Technologies enhances business efficiency, workflow, collaboration, training, and sales through Artificial Intelligence software and immersive experiences.
- DeteQt – Sydney-based DeteQt makes quantum sensors for magnetic field-aware intelligence used in applications from medical technology to navigation to minerals exploration.
- Q-CTRL – Australia-based Q-CTRL build AI-powered infrastructure software that bridged the gap between quantum technologies and classical technologies, making each more useful.
- Space Machines Company – Focused on space resilience, Space Machines Company provides proximity operations and intelligence at scale.
- Allegro Energy – Allegro Energy has created the world’s first truly sustainable battery storage technology and builds the software to further improve efficiency.
- EcoPHA Biotech and Terra Sol – PHA is a next-generation biopolymer 100 per cent plastic free. EcoPHA Biotech is a manufacturer while Terra Sol is a design studio specialising in PHA products.
- Loop Hydrometallurgy – The Halion Loop product from Loop Hydrometallurgy offes cheaper, cleaner production of copper, from mineral concentrate to metal at the mine site. They call it ‘copper made green’.
- Novalith Technologies – Novalith has redefined lithium extraction, producing low-cost and low impact lithium chemicals to strengthen global supply chains, and accelerate electrification.
- Rux Energy – Breakthrough materials for hydrogen storage are at the centre of Rux Energy’s mission, enabling a hydrogen future for ships, trucks, trains, planes, and heavy industry.
- Nourish Ingredients – Backed by Horizons Ventures, Main Sequence and HostPlus, Nourish Ingredients is a deep tech company leading in animal-free fats and precision fermentation.
- PPB Technology – PPB Technology’s CyberTongue is a new point of care diagnostic testing platform for the dairy and food industry originally developed by a team at CSIRO.
- Stacked Farm – Building proprietary technology and sustainable methods deliver premium-quality produce year-round, Stacked Farm has redefined freshness, efficiency, and scalable farming.
- Van Diemens Land Creamery – Established in 2005, Van Diemens Land Creamery was created by a Tasmanian dairy farming family and built into an innovative FoodTech engine.
- 89 Degrees East and COSBOA – Canberra-based digital agency 89 Degrees East joined with the Council of Small Business Organisations to build the federal CyberWardens program.
- Horizon Power – Based in regional Western Australia, Horizon Power operates across the full energy supply chain with generation, transmission, distribution and retail services.
- Royal Flying Doctor Service SA/NT – While the RFDS health services to outback and regional communities does not need introduction, it’s innovation Virtual Emergency Centre in South Australia and the Northern Territory is inspiring.
- See Me Please – See Me Please is a mission-driven startup that leverages technology to deliver a deeply human service at a time when most customer interactions are becoming invisible through the shift to digital.
- SmarterSoft – Based in Sydney, SmarterSoft is a no-code SaaS web technology used to fast-build any kind of business application in the cloud.
- Atmo Biosciences – The Atmo Bionsciences product is an ingestible gas-sensing capsule that measures gases directly at the source of production throughout the gastrointestinal tract.
- Epiminder – The Epiminder product is the first FDA-authorised implantable continuous EEG monitoring system, designed for continuous monitoring of brain activity for people with drug-resistant epilepsy.
- Enhanced Analgesics – As a deep-tech Australian startup, Enhanced Analgesics uses a novel RNA-based therapy to provide safe, targeted relief without opioids.
- GLANCE Optical – Founded in 2025, Glance Optical specialises in the design, testing and implementation of vision related software for portable devices.
- Navi Medical Technologies – The startup specialises in life-saving central vascular access devices (‘central lines’) for newborns, infants, and children. Website here.
- Cogito Group – Cogito Group provides managed cyber security solutions for both federal and private organisations, providing critical infrastructure across Australia and New Zealand.
- Farmbot Monitoring Solutions – This Australian startup produces water monitoring and management solutions for the agricultural sector. Website here.
- Innofocus Photonics Technology – Headquartered in Melbourne, Innofocus Photonics targets frontier technology research and innovative solution developmeproduct nt to provide equipment, products, and services to academia and industry.
- Liquid Instruments – Liquid Instruments’ reconfigurable Moku is the only integrated test solution engineered for seamless customisation making it suitable for a broad range of testing. Website here.
- mDetect and Swinburne University – The mDetect product uses muons to provide intelligence on the internal structure of buildings and infrastructure as well as subterranean and submarine features.
