Australia’s innovation community has spoken: Innofocus is the winner of the 2025 People’s Choice Award, announced at the black-tie InnovationAus Awards for Excellence gala dinner at Sydney Town Hall on Thursday night.
The People’s Choice Award is the only category decided entirely by public vote, and this year saw the largest participation in the event’s history.
Innofocus emerged as a clear crowd favourite, earning strong support from industry peers, researchers, founders and tech-curious voters impressed by the company’s world-leading nanoprinting technology and its vision to make quantum-grade and photonics-grade manufacturing accessible to all.
Voters praised Innofocus not just for technical excellence, but for ambition — backing an Australian deep-tech company aiming to reshape how advanced materials and future devices are built.
Innofocus also earned our 2025 Translation Hero in a highly competitive field that included Liquid Instruments, mDetect and Swinburne University, and Rux Energy – all leaders in translating frontier science into real-world products.
