Defence has consolidated its VMWare arrangements, including some perpetual licences, into a new almost $180 million mega deal after the virtualisation supplier’s shift to a subscription model.
The new three-year deal is more than three times Defence’s previous main licensing contract with VMWare, and pushes its spend on the software in the last decade to almost half a billion dollars.
