NSW digital work systems laws pass despite union power concerns


Businesses will be held accountable for digital workplace systems that impose unrealistic targets for workers under landmark laws passed by NSW Parliament on Thursday night.

Despite fierce industry opposition over the new union access rights, the Minns government won crossbench support for the controversial Digital Work System Bill.

The government agreed to delay the start of the new regulations until guidelines are developed.
