Since the start of the year, InnovationAus.com has been beavering away on a couple of new podcast projects – including for the first time the addition of a LIVE version of our weekly NewsWrap production.
You are invited to join the conversation, with James Riley from Parliament House in Canberra and the InnovationAus editor Justin Henry in Sydney to discuss the highlights and lowlights across the Australian tech landscape.
Join the conversation on Thursday March 12 from 12:30pm to 1.30pm for our first NewsWrap LIVE production, a live webinar-style town hall event in which Justin and I record our weekly episode while taking comments and feedback for the live audience.

Our first NewsWrap Live is scheduled at the end of a two-week parliamentary sitting period in Canberra, so there will be plenty to unpack. These are always busy weeks.

The Commercial Disco – our long-running series discussing anything and everything related to building successful tech companies in Australia. Guests have ranged from Malcolm Turnbull to David Thodey, Catherine Livingstone, Senator Tim Ayres and Andrew Charlton (and a hundred or so more).
Delivery: A GovTech Podcast – will launch in the coming week, a deep dive into public sector technology with the public service leaders driving some of Australia’s most consequential and sophisticated projects.
Among the Delivery guests in the first episodes are interviews with Services Australia chief information and digital officer Charles McHardie, and Department of Finance chief AI officer Paul Hubbard.
And finally, keep an eye out for our limited episode series Aussie Quantum, which tracks the Australian quantum ecosystem, from the researchers to the startups to the VCs, private equity and superannuation players and government investors.
This is a series that will showcase Australia’s quantum community to the world, telling potential international quantum collaborators and investors to come and have a look. We’re telling the “we’ll slip another shrimp on the barbie for you.”
