Australian AI robotics innovator Advanced Navigation has clinched a $50 million equity investment from the National Reconstruction Fund as part of a $158 million Series C raise.
The Sydney-based deep tech company, co-founded by Chris Shaw and Xavier Orr in 2012 and now under Mr Shaw’s sole leadership, specialises in artificial intelligence-based inertial navigation — critical for GPS-denied environments such as space.
