The Victorian government has backed Microsoft’s second Australian training facility for data centre workers, matching the company’s funding for a program based in Melbourne’s inner west.
Victoria University’s Nicholson campus in Footscray will run two TAFE courses through the new Microsoft Datacentre Academy, which welcomed its first cohort of students earlier this month.
