Supporters urge Chalmers to stare down startup CGT backlash

Labor must not back down on its changes to the capital gains tax discount and any carve out should be tightly targeted to genuine startups and based on evidence, a range of thinktanks and social groups have said in a counter to fierce backlash from founders and investors.
