Boeing eyes offshore production for Ghost Bat drones


Boeing is considering setting up multiple offshore hubs to build its Ghost Bat military drone, even before the first combat-ready MQ-28 aircraft has rolled off the production line in Australia.

The Ghost Bat, designed and developed with the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF), moved into the production stage late last year after the federal government purchased another six drones for $754 million.
