Business Growth Fund doubles SME investment limit to $30m

The $540 million public private fund set up by the Morrison government to provide equity financing to scaling SMEs has doubled its investment limit, putting up to $30 million on the table for individual business investments.

The Australian Business Growth Fund’s (ABGF) total investment limit including follow on deals will also stretch to $50 million, and it will also now be able to take a majority stake in local firms. …
