Anthony Albanese has used his visit to the UN in New York this week to also sell Australia as a stable investment destination for American capital, calling for partnerships on renewable energy and advanced manufacturing.
The Prime Minister told a Macquarie Group function in New York that Australia and the US can leverage the strength of the existing investment relationship to manage the shift to clean energy.
“We can put our investment partnership at the centre of a defining global opportunity,” Mr Albanese said.
