Low carbon fuels startup HAMR Energy has received $32 million from the Australian Renewable Energy Agency to kickstart plans for a multi-billion-dollar green aviation fuel supply chain for Australia’s southeast.
The Melbourne-headquartered firm on Wednesday said the investment would go towards a $92 million Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) project for three biofuel plants it plans to build in Victoria and South Australia.
