Australia’s space regulator prepared bespoke support for SpaceX earlier this year to aid the company’s bid to land and recover a rocket off the coast of Western Australia, newly released documents confirm.
Australia’s space officials put the SpaceX proposal to domestic Defence, aviation, environmental and maritime regulators around July.
They then planned a meet with the US State Department to assist the foreign firm in fulfilling defence export control requirements.
