FMiA already reshaping industry aid: Productivity Commission


Industry assistance has swung towards targeted support at the expense of broad-based programs since the arrival of the Albanese government’s Future Made in Australia (FMiA) agenda, the Productivity Commission has found.

In its annual Trade and Assistance Review 2024-25 on Thursday, the commission said the signature FMiA support program accounted for more than half of the growth in budgetary assistance in only its first year.
