Gig Guide: WA gets a familiar new chief data officer

The Western Australia government has named Natalia Kacperek as its permanent Chief Data Officer, the public service veteran taking up the role after spending two years in an acting capacity.

The permanent appointment was made possible by provisions in the state’s new Privacy and Responsible Information Sharing Act, which Ms Kacperek will oversee.
