IISA to get new board members as report goes missing in action

Industry minister Ed Husic is expected to make four new appointments to the board of Industry, Innovation and Science Australia within days, but the whereabouts of an inconvenient IISA report delivered to the minister last year remains unknown.

Together with the appointment a week ago of Peter Rossdeutscher as the new IISA chair and Australia’s freshly minted chief scientist Professor Tony Haymet as deputy chair last month, it means six directors will have been appointed in the shadow of a federal election.

The four director positions have been vacant for most of the last year.
