NRF surges past $1.5bn investment target in year-end rush


The National Reconstruction Fund has blown past its $1.5 billion investment target, helped by two sizeable, still-undisclosed loans that were struck on the last day of the financial year.

New data shows the Albanese government’s flagship industry fund ended the 2025-26 financial year with $1.7 billion invested, as its chief executive David Gall prepares to deploy a further $2.7 billion over the next 12 months.
