SA govt gets to work on AI strategy

A South Australian artificial intelligence strategy is under development to boost investment and adoption of the technology in what is arguably already an Australian stronghold.

A nation-first AI Capability Directory is also in the works to connect South Australia’s expertise among government, industry and leading research institutions, and to promote it to the rest of the world.

The moves come ahead of a national AI capability plan being developed by the Albanese government and amid a shift in focus to the productivity and strategic potential of the technology.
