Diraq says it is now working to build chips containing hundreds of silicon quantum dot qubits, after new research showed its manufacturing process can scale with no loss of performance.
The research, to be published in Nature Communications on Thursday night, proves a chip array four times larger than its previous design is possible, bringing the Sydney startup a step closer to a utility-scale quantum computer.
