French defence giant Thales has launched a new Canberra-based cybersecurity hub for federal government agencies and critical infrastructure operators, promising to isolate data breaches within minutes.
The company opened the new “defence-grade” Security Operations Centre (SOC) on Wednesday, delivered in partnership with Google Cloud.
The two companies first signed the contract for the SOC in July last year, designing the centre for what appears to be significant future scale.
