Dozens of  industry leaders, policy makers and academic experts will assemble in Sydney on Friday morning to put forward a case for innovation’s role in the government’s expanding reform agenda.

Convened by Industry minister Tim Ayres ahead of the main economic and productivity roundtable in Canberra later this month, the two Sydney discussions will cover industry capability and technology and innovation.

Attendees include Australia’s chief scientist Professor Tony Haymet and CSIRO chief executive Doug Hilton, as well as tech sector advocates Kate Pounder, Damian Kassabgi and Robyn Denholm.
