Some of the federal government’s largest technology suppliers offered public officials almost $500,000 in gifts and hospitality in a single year, a review triggered by a Salesforce scandal has revealed.
Thousands of gifts were extended across the public service in the 12 months to April 2026, according to the first-ever sweep of its kind, which exposes the extent of vendor attempts to win influence across government.
