NSW Treasurer Daniel Mookhey on Monday flagged faster project development times and more government support for the tech sector in next month’s state Budget as he looks to arrest a productivity slide.
In a traditional address to the McKell Institute that marks the Budget run in, Mr Mookhey touted the state’s tech sector as a key economic driver alongside energy and infrastructure.
He confirmed the Minns government is exploring faster ways to build large scale projects and will “start” to fund programs from the state’s Innovation Blueprint.
