South Australia has opened a new consultation on artificial intelligence tools, inviting tech vendors to contribute ideas that could shape a procurement playbook for government’s use of the technology.
The Department of the Premier and Cabinet (DPC) issued a Request for Information (RFI) on AI tools, solutions and services relevant to state government functions, with submissions due by the end of October.
The RFI is a scoping process designed to inform a future “catalogue of offerings” that can guide agencies on adoption pathways, procurement planning and budget setting, according to documents accompanying the call out.
