AWS’ feds contract doubles to $342m months after expiry


The Digital Transformation Agency has nearly doubled the reported cost of its previous whole-of-government cloud contract with Amazon Web Services months after it ended and was replaced with a new contact.

The deal, which served as the federal government’s main contract with the cloud hyperscaler for three years until its expiry in April, was quietly revised up in September, contract disclosures show.
