Sydney battery spinout goes big in Japan

University of Sydney spinout Gelion Technologies on Tuesday announced a partnership with global electronics behemoth TDK to move its lithium sulfur battery technology into a prototype production phase from Japanese factories.

It follows the Australian founded and London Stock Exchange listed company raising more than £10 million ($A20.5 million) from existing and new shareholders last week.
