Federal agencies will be legally required to remove technology listed on a new government-wide “deny list” by the end of the month in response to increasingly complex threats of foreign interference, espionage and sabotage.
The first three entries on the new list are TikTok and DeepSeek, both linked to China, and Russian multinational Kaspersky, all of which had already been subject to individual bans.
