BoM launched website as tech overhaul slipped again

The Bureau of Meteorology missed an already extended deadline for its $1 billion backend technology overhaul in June, only completing the foundational project after its shambolic website launch.

InnovationAus.com can also reveal the website cost is almost $90 million, not the widely reported $4 million figure, and is tied to a digital platform outsourced to tech services giant Accenture.
