Gold Coast rocket startup Gilmour Space has blasted through a $1 billion valuation after raising $217 million from an all-Australian group of investors led by the National Reconstruction Fund and super giant Hostplus.
The Series E, which also includes the Future Fund and South Australian government investment vehicle Funds SA as new backers, sets the company up for the next 18 months, as it prepares to court international investors.
