It has been more than three years since the federal government’s flagship industrial development advisory board – Industry, Innovation and Science Australia (IISA) – has been given written ministerial directions.
The last time the Industry minister issued a statement of expectations (as the document is known) to the IISA chair was in December 2022, when former minister Ed Husic wrote to previous chair Andrew Stevens.
