South Australia’s Labor government has pledged $150 million to build three new technical colleges if returned to power at the March election, expanding a vocational training program it launched in its first term.
The public colleges are part of efforts to meet the workforce needs of the AUKUS submarine program and plug the state’s skills gaps, especially in the construction sector.
