The Accenture-built myClearance vetting system is now “working as technically designed”, according to officials at the Department of Defence, but it will take at least another half a year before processing KPIs are met.
Since the launch of myClearance late last year, there have been five major ICT technical releases and 25 minor releases.
Fronting Senate Estimates on Wednesday, Defence deputy secretary security and estate Celia Perkins reiterated that the technical issues have been “largely resolved”.
