ASCA counter-drone spend shoots past $37m


Electro Optic Systems has landed a counter-drone contract under the Advanced Strategic Capabilities Accelerator’s Mission Syracuse, becoming the third defence tech firm to win work through the program.

The $5.7 million contract will see the Canberra-based company develop its R400 Slinger “all-in-one remote weapon system” as part of the two-year program for nascent counter-drone technologies.
