Federal government agencies have struck contracts worth almost $300 million with Amazon Web Services following the arrival of the renegotiated whole of government agreement.
Amid transparency concerns over the deal, more contracts with the cloud hyperscaler have come to light, bringing the cost of the three-year arrangement to at least $293 million across 10 agencies.
The Department of Home Affairs and the Digital Transformation Agency are the latest to publish contracts, joining first movers like the Australian Securities and Investments Commission and the Australian Taxation Office.
