Consultants have been brought in to independently review the Australian Submarine Agency amid reports of dissatisfaction inside and outside the fledgling entity responsible for the AUKUS submarine program.
InnovationAus.com can reveal that Boston Consulting Group (BCG) is part of ongoing scrutiny of the 18-month-old agency, which also has former senior bureaucrat Dennis Richardson reviewing its governance.
BCG was approached directly for a performance review after helping transition the taskforce that finalised the AUKUS deal into an agency in 2023. It has also completed a separate structural review last year.
