Consultants with ‘unfettered access’ to Defence ask for more

The consulting firm that allegedly boasted of having unfettered access to senior Defence personnel has told Parliament it doesn’t get enough direction from the Defence department and needs more support from government.

The call for assistance from Noetic, a Canberra based consultancy, comes as the Department of Defence declined to say what it had done in response to the allegation made this week about the supplier it has awarded more than $93 million.
