Gilmour Space Technologies has signed a long-term strategic partnership with Singapore laser communications startup Transcelestial to integrate and test high-bandwidth communications on its next ElaraSat mission.
The companies say the first stage of the partnership involves building the Transcelestial laser system into the ElaraSat MMS-2 satellite due to launch on a SpaceX rideshare mission in October.
