Home Affairs has renewed its deal with US tech giant Pegasystems for case management software for another year, at a cost of more than $3 million.
The Massachusetts-based Pegasystems, which is listed on the Nasdaq and has a market cap of more than $14 billion ($US9.2 billion), holds a number of contracts with the government department.
Since 2015 it has provided case management software for Home Affairs, landing $28.5 million over the decade. This standing offer notice came to an end at the end of June.
