New applicants are being frozen out of the Australian government’s data sovereignty certification scheme for up to a year as Home Affairs works with current providers to tighten rules and apply them more consistently.
The changes to the Hosting Certification Framework announced this week are also being closely guarded. A proposed a new policy and Deed of Certification setting out the new obligations will not being shared publicly.
