Gearing up for a bumper year

James Riley
Editorial Director

As this giant of a year draws to a close, we are up to our elbows preparing the second annual InnovationAus.com Summer Reading List, which we’ll publish in our final edition next week.

Funnily enough, the reading list is a must-read. We ask a selection of industry leaders and luminaries about the best books they’ve read this year – and the titles they plan to get stuck into over Christmas, in between strawberry daiquiris and dips in the pool.

Our last publishing date for 2017 is Wednesday December 20. We will return bigger, bolder and brighter than ever with our first edition of the New Year on January 17.

And we will be back to our twice-weekly publishing schedule after Australia Day. This will also see the return of Beverley Head’s ground-breaking interview series, The Establishment.

This was an incredibly important year for InnovationAus.com. In addition initiative like The Establishment, we have ramped up coverage from Melbourne and Victoria through the incredible reporting of Denham Sadler, and brought Aimee Chanthadavong on board with a mission to improve coverage of the tech scene out of Brisbane and Queensland.

In the next year, we will continue to focus on building out the national footprint of coverage of InnovationAus.com. This will include expanded coverage from the region.

We continue to invest in senior journalism, and we’re grateful to have the continued support this year of veterans like Stuart Kennedy, Michael Sainsbury, Graeme Philipson, Sandy Plunkett and of course, Bev Head.

None of the journalism is possible without the support of our partners.

We have built out series of signature events, and senior forums and roundtables that serves two important functions: Firstly to bubble-up the ideas and issues most important to our sector and secondly to provide the revenue model that funds our journalism.

We are delighted to have finalised our signature events program for the first of 2018, and have now opened these to partnerships. If this is something you would like to discuss in more detail or to receive an event prospectus, please contact the InnovationAus.com Strategic Partnerships director Andra Muller at  Andra@InnovationAus.com or phone number +61 400 388 846.

Thank you for the incredible supporter from these important industry partners. We look forward to working with each or you again in a productive 2018!
