NRF takes $10m stake in AI bottleneck buster Syenta

The federal government’s $15 billion industry fund has taken a $10 million stake in Syenta, an ANU deep tech spinout tackling one of the AI industry’s biggest bottlenecks and part of an emerging local semiconductor sector.

Part of Syenta’s US$26 million Series A, the National Reconstruction Fund’s equity investment follows on from two federal commercialisation grants that helped bring the startup’s chip technology into production.
