NSW expands SAP ERP consolidation to 100-plus agencies

The New South Wales government will expand its enterprise resources planning system consolidation across government, providing $160 million in Tuesday’s Budget for the work program.

The new funding package will see a single SAP ERP platform replace multiple systems currently used by Shared Services Hubs to serve more than 100 agencies and 81,000 public servants.

It comes just months after the former government’s Process and Technology Harmonisation (PaTH) program ended and as the Minns government foreshadowed further shared services reform.
