US software giant Salesforce secured a major contract with Export Finance Australia within weeks of courting the investment agency’s officials with free invites to a VIP gathering.
A contract for Salesforce software at the agency was struck a fortnight after two invites to an ‘Executive Experience’ in Sydney were accepted in late 2023, following a similar pattern of the company extending hospitality to government officials ahead of tenders.
