Senators hammer PC’s copyright attack on creative industries

The Productivity Commission has come under heavy fire in a Senate hearing over its interim report on artificial intelligence and copyright, with senators accusing the agency of abandoning Australia’s creative industries.

Liberal senator Sarah Henderson delivered the sharpest rebuke, saying “I condemn the Productivity Commission for not having appropriate regard for our creative industries.”
