NSW innovation minister Anoulack Chanthivong says moving the popular Sydney Startup Hub to Tech Central will give startups new opportunities to scale ideas and build world-class research links.
In his first comments since the issue flared last month, with many of the startup residents within the existing hub at Wynyard unhappy with the move, Mr Chanthivong said shifting the Sydney Startup Hub was fundamental to realising the state’s vision for the innovation precinct.
“This is a very unique ecosystem, one we must continue to invest in and continue to support and continue to grow,” he told the Consumer Data Right Summit on Thursday.
