Marcela Bilek is an Australian Research Council Laureate Fellow and Professor of Applied Physics & Surface Engineering at the University of Sydney.
In this presentation to the Capability Papers [Live], Professor Bilek discusses Australian expertise in plasma technology and how it can be companied with our renewable energy resources to create new power fuels and new value-added products like clean chemicals.
Professor Bilek collaborated with Dr Yunxia Yang, a senior research scientist in CSIRO’s Energy business unit, and Dr Tony Murphy, the chief research scientist at CSIRO’s Manufacturing business unit to write a paper titled Plasma power: Our renewable advantage, which you can read here.
