The New South Wales government has given itself another 12 months to renegotiate its main sourcing agreement with German software giant SAP, which also remains locked in talks with the federal government.
The NSW extension comes a year after the agreement, one of the longest-running standing offers across the state government and estimated to be worth $490 million, was last extended by 12 months.
